This is a 1,200 square foot apartment. It's on the fourth floor with a view of the ocean and a shopping center. It's walking distance to the beach, American village (where there are restaurants, shopping and a ferris wheel) and Japanese markets. It's close to the base where Benny will work. It's in our price range. The wood paneling and flooring makes me want to puke.
The kitchen
The bathroom
The view
A place to hang my hammock
P.S. For some reason, I can't get the photos I took of these places to upload. Frustrating. I'll try again tonight.

I pick this one......you don't need kids playing baseball :) Bring on the fun things to do and the not so long commute in a foreign land
oh yeah, and the ocean. Duh. It will remind you of Cali
How many square feet is option No. 2 and does it have more counter space than the kitchen in No. 1? I'm torn because a yard would be good - but close proximity to all the stuff you mentioned here is also good ...
I hope it isn't too late to vote. I like this option. It seems to fit you two crazy cats.
the wood paneling is really gross, but I love the view and the balcony. a balcony to me raises any apartment by several points, and the location. this would be my choice.
Hi Far East Travelers,
Glad you made it safely. I vote for option #2. I don't think you sound excited about #1, and #3 sounds far away from everything. I would miss an oven. Even in the PI we had an oven! How do you bake bread, turkey, etc?
Love, Carolyn K.
I threw up in my mouth a little when I saw the kitchen......
The more I think about it, staying here would be like living in the Imperial Palace on the Vegas Strip. Close to the glamour, the room has nothing fancy, but you sleep under the buzzing "no vacancy" sign every s-i-n-g-l-e night. I'd feel like I live next to the Spearmint Rhino, although I don't think there is an actual strip club in the area.
